5 Ways to Attract Your Target Client and Fill Your Books
Before I give you my top tips. I want you to remember how important it is to know who you are, who you want to serve, and how you will serve them better than anyone else.
Firstly, DEFINE YOUR TARGET AUDIENCE. In other words, get crystal clear on who your ideal clients are. Consider demographics like age, income level, and lifestyle preferences. Understanding your target audience allows you to tailor your marketing efforts to appeal directly to them. Now, we can dive into the how:
-
B to B Partnerships: Business to business partnerships are the absolute best way to link up with another business in your area that shares your target market client. You can do a small event together or even share cards with a QR code in each other's space to start. Working together can help create more visibility for your salon.
-
Spread the Love: Happy clients are your best marketing tool. Encourage them to spread the word about your salon by offering referral incentives. When your clients become your biggest fans, they'll gladly sing your praises to anyone who will listen. And we all know how referred clients typically become the most loyal clients.
-
Leverage Online Marketing Channels: Utilize online marketing channels such as your website, social media platforms, email marketing, and online advertising to reach and engage with your target audience. Consistently share valuable content, interact with your followers, and actively participate in local online communities to increase your salon's visibility and attract new clients.
-
Social Media Frenzy: Social media is a great way to get your name out there for FREE. Understanding your target market will help you understand which platform will be your main platform for posting. EX: IG demographic is younger. 19-35 years old. FB- Demographic is 19-54 years old. TIKTOK- Demographic is from 18-24 years old. It is important to be present on all platforms, but your main platform should be the one that slings with your target client the most.
- Network - Networking in person and online via FB groups is key. Getting yourself out there and mixing with your target client is essential. I suggest community networking groups or even the local Chamber of Commerce. Get involved in your local FB groups. So many of them allow you to share your services on a particular day. This is a great way to get in front of a lot of eyes in your community and engage with them for FREE.
