INSTRUCTIONS CHART
OPTION 1: Standalone Salon Service
1. Detox hair with Blacklight Smart Purifying Shampoo Professional and rinse.
2. Mix 3 oz (90ml) of water with ¼ oz (7ml) of Blacklight Prevention and Strengthening Concentrate Apply on damp hair.
3. Process 3 - 5 minutes (do not rinse).
4. APPLY Blacklight Smart Bond Repair Treatment. Comb for even distribution. Process for 5 minutes and rinse
5. Gently remove excess water from the hair with a soft fabric towel.
6. *Add one or two dime sized amount of Blacklight Smart Oil on the palm of your hands. Rub your hands together and distribute product on lengths and ends
7. Apply SMART Thermal Shield Spray on towel dried hair deliberately from regrowth to ends
8. Dry and style as usual
*If SMART Thermal Shield is applied on dry hair, spray 6 inches away from the hair, let product stand for 2 minutes prior to hot iron application.
*For curly hair, add one or two dime sized amount of Blacklight Smart Oil on the palm of your hands. Rub your hands together and gently massage the product on your hair lengths and ends then use your finger (raking) to aid in distribute and separate your curls.
OPTION 2 : HAIR LIGHTENER APPLICATION:
1. Use 1/16 oz (2ml) of Blacklight Prevention and Strengthening Concentrate for every 1 oz (30 ml) of lightener. Add developer as per lightener instructions**.
2. For very porous hair, use 1/8 oz (3.5ml) of Blacklight Prevention and Strengthening Concentrate for every 1 oz (30ml) of lightener. Use caution and proper judgment when dealing with very porous hair.
3. Do not use more than a 20 volume for on-scalp application.
4. Once processing time is completed, rinse hair thoroughly with lukewarm water.
5. Detox hair with Blacklight Smart Purifying Shampoo Professional. If shampoo lather urns pinkish, rinse the hair thoroughly and gently repeat shampoo application. Rinse.
6. Apply Blacklight Smart Bond Builder and Repair Treatment and comb the hair with a wide tooth comb for even distribution. Leave it for 5 minutes and rinse.
7. Gently remove excess water from the hair with a soft fabric towel.
8. Add one or two dime sized amount of Blacklight Smart Oil on the palm of your hands. Rub your hands together and distribute product on lengths and ends. For curly hair, follow the instructions above.
9. Apply SMART Thermal Shield Spray on towel dried hair deliberately from regrowth to ends
10. Dry and style as usual.
*If SMART Thermal Shield is applied on dry hair, spray 6 inches away from the hair, let product stand for 2 minutes prior to hot iron application.
OPTION 3 : HAIR COLOUR APPLICATION:
1. Use 1/16 oz (2ml) of Blacklight Smart Prevention and Strengthening Concentrate for every 1 oz (30ml) of hair color. Add developer as per hair colour instructions.
2. Process colour.
3. Detox hair with Blacklight Smart Purifying Shampoo Professional. If shampoo lather turns pinkish, rinse the hair with abundant water until water runs clean. Do not repeat shampoo application.
4. Apply Blacklight Smart Repair Conditioner(for healthy hair) or Blacklight Smart Bond Builder and Repair Treatment(for porous hair) and comb hair for even distribution.
5. Process for 3-5 (Conditioner) minutes and rinse or process for 5 (Treatment) minutes and rinse.
6. Gently remove excess water from the hair with a soft fabric towel.
7. Add one or two dime sized amount of Blacklight Smart Oil on the palm of your hands. Rub your hands together and distribute product on lengths and ends. For curly hair, follow the instructions above.
8. Apply SMART Thermal Shield Spray on towel dried hair deliberately from regrowth to ends
9. Dry and style as usual.

HOME CARE:
1. Use Blacklight Smart Purifying Shampoo Retail and Blacklight Smart Repair Conditioner once every week.
2. Replace Blacklight Smart Repair Conditioner by Blacklight Smart Bond Builder and Repair Treatment once every two weeks.
3. Use Blacklight Smart Prevention and Strengthening Treatment Single Use once a month.
4. Apply SMART Thermal Shield Spray on towel dried hair deliberately from regrowth to ends
5. Blacklight Smart Oil can be used on damp hair after each washing routine.
*If SMART Thermal Shield is applied on dry hair, spray 6 inches away from the hair, let product stand for 2 minutes prior to hot iron application.

3. Let the product rest for 20 minutes.
