Ring in the New Year!

Happy New Year Oligo Fam! Are you ready to create a plan of success that is best for you and your business? I don’t know about you, but I am really big on yearly planning to create a clear plan of action and a sense of organization for the upcoming year. Here are my top tips to create growth in 2023.

  1. Take a look back on 2022. Look into what worked in terms of marketing, systems, and advertising. Keep what worked and restrategize on what didn't. EX:If you spent money on advertising and didn't see a return on your investment it's time for a new game plan. Spending money on advertising can be great as long as you have a clear strategy. My suggestion is to invent in Fb or IG ads. They offer the biggest bang for your buck.

  2. Reassess your brand. If it’s been 2-3- years since you took a good hard look at your brand and brand message, it’s time. Are your core values the same or have they shifted slightly?  A brand will evolve and change over time as you grow. Be sure to check in and see if anything needs to be updated

  3. Does your branding need a makeover? Your branding consists of your logo, fonts, colour palette, and even your brand voice. When was the last time you had a refresh? If it’s over 3 years, it may be time. You can do a mini makeover as well. Maybe a tweak to your logo or swap out a colour in your colour palette. You want to be sure you are aligned with your message and your branding matches the vibe and feel of your brand.

  4. Financial goals. What would you like to achieve this year? How much money do you want to make and how much do you want to keep in profit? Maybe you want to change your schedule a bit and cut back. How will that affect your income? The target growth is typically 10-20% over the prior year. I suggest writing out a plan of action on how you can make that happen. My top 3 suggested ways to grow a business are. 1. Referrals. 2. Networking, 3. Social media. Don’t try to overdo it. Pick one area of focus and go all the way in. If you put all your time and energy into nurturing that 1 area and you are consistent in your approach, you will see growth in your business.
